Mapoo is a British Autistic artiste and Powerhouse Singer, she first started singing at the tender age of two years old. Mapoo has always had a passion for singing and believes that music can heal peoples pain. Singing is the ultimate expression of how she is feeling inside.
Mapoo loves to sing for her fans and to receive their feedback, for her giving her fans a great performance is all that matters.
Mapoo was born in England and is based in Yorkshire, where she lives with her mum and sister. No one in Mapoo’s family is in the music business or has any musical leanings. Mapoo is truly unique!
Mapoo Little performs throughout Second Life, with shows on most days, and a constantly evolving repertoire of songs that cut across genre, age and time. The set is regularly updated to move with the the current trends and the stage is a dynamic mix of a bygone tradition with modern technological twists.
Mapoo has been told that she sounds a lot like Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, and other stars but different people have different views and Mapoo is no pretender or emulator, any similarities are flattering but coincidental. Mapoo Little performs a lot of Variety Music, from Pop to Soul, Dance to Jazz, Blues to some Swing and also some Oldies – But wait till you hear her sing Motown, the lady is a Powerhouse singing diva!
